Ronie's operates as a bird store and a rescue. The staff at Ronie's works hard to find birds a compatible home/ Ultimately, they led the birds decide who will be their new owner. You can find their adoptable birds here.

The Parrot Garden is, "A place of refuge and sanctuary" where the staff provide a "safe, nurturing environment for the rehabilitation of [their] birds, whether they have emotional or physical challenges, or a mix of both."

The Parrot Garden at Best Friend's shelter in Kanab has an outdoor area for the parrots to have fresh air and an indoor area with an in-house vet to treat all of the birds.

Wasatch Avian Education Society is a club in Utah where parrot owners meet up every second Saturday of the month for an event or forum. Members can foster parrots and adopt through the society. Their website shows which parrots are in foster care and how to apply to foster a parrot.

ASAP was started in 2006 and rehabilitates local birds and wildlife. Their mission is to educate the public on coexisting with wild birds in urbanized areas. ASAP also operates a domestic bird rescue where you can adopt parrots ranging from parakeets to macaws.

Traci is a well-known exotic bird breeder in Taylorsville, UT. In addition to parrot breeding, she takes in rescues as well. You can see which birds are available on her website or on her Facebook page, or you can give her a call and ask about available birds.

Saranda Wymer is a Washington County resident who is known as the "local bird lady." She is a certified avian specialist and has been working with macaws and other parrot species for over 16 years. She takes in neglected parrots and helps rehabilitate and train birds.
